Shipping Policy for J & J ARMORY

At J & J Armory, we aim to provide you with a smooth and secure shopping experience. Our shipping policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for all orders placed through our online store.

1. Shipping Restrictions

Due to federal, state, and local regulations, there are specific restrictions on the shipping of firearms, ammunition, and certain accessories. Please review the following guidelines:

  • Firearms: Firearms will only be shipped to licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealers. When purchasing a firearm, you must provide the contact information and FFL license number of the dealer to whom you would like the firearm shipped.

  • Ammunition: Ammunition can only be shipped to specific states, counties, or cities where it is legal. Please check your local laws to ensure compliance before ordering.

  • Magazines: Certain magazines may be prohibited in specific states or regions. Please review your local regulations before purchasing.

2. Order Processing

  • Processing Time: Most orders will be processed within 1-3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Custom or special orders may take additional time to process.

  • Order Confirmation: You will receive an order confirmation email once your purchase has been completed. This email will include details of your order and expected shipping times.

  • Verification: For firearms and ammunition purchases, we may need to verify certain information (such as an FFL license or age) before processing your order.

3. Shipping Methods and Costs

We offer a variety of shipping methods to meet your needs. Shipping costs are calculated based on your order's weight, size, destination, and shipping method chosen. You will be able to view the total shipping cost at checkout before confirming your order.

  • Standard Shipping: Typically takes 5-7 business days (subject to availability and delivery location).

  • Expedited Shipping: Available for faster delivery, typically 2-3 business days, for an additional fee.

  • Signature Requirement: Due to the nature of the items being shipped, all firearms and certain ammunition may require a signature upon delivery.

4. Shipping Restrictions by State/Location

Certain states, counties, and cities have additional restrictions on shipping firearms, ammunition, and accessories. We will not ship these items to the following locations:

  • States/Localities with additional restrictions: States or localities where you do not ship California, New York City, Chicago, Massachusetts, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.

  • Restricted Products: Items prohibited by local laws, including but not limited to high-capacity magazines, certain types of ammunition, or certain firearm accessories.

Please verify that your shipping address complies with the laws in your jurisdiction before placing an order. Orders placed with restricted shipping addresses will be canceled, and a refund will be issued.

5. Shipping to FFL Dealers

For firearms purchases, the shipping address must be an FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer’s location. After you complete your order, you will need to contact your chosen FFL dealer and have them email a copy of their FFL license to us at [Your Contact Email].

If we do not receive the required FFL information within [X] business days, your order may be canceled, and a refund will be issued.

6. Delivery Times

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, delivery times are estimates and may vary based on factors such as:

  • Carrier delays or issues

  • Weather conditions or natural disasters

  • Shipping destination

  • Legal or regulatory delays

Once your order ships, we will provide tracking information so you can monitor the status of your delivery.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. You can use this to track the status of your package directly through the carrier’s website.

8. Shipping Damages

In the event that your order is damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package. We will work with you and the shipping carrier to resolve the issue promptly. Please retain the original packaging and photos of the damage for the claim process.

9. Returns and Exchanges

Please review our Return & Exchange Policy for information on how to handle returns or exchanges for damaged or incorrect items. Due to the nature of firearms, ammunition, and certain accessories, returns may be subject to specific conditions.

10. International Shipping

At this time, we do not offer international shipping for firearms, ammunition, or related products. We only ship to valid U.S. addresses.

Additional Considerations:

  1. Compliance with ATF and State Laws: Ensure your shipping policies fully comply with all federal and state laws, including regulations set forth by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Keep in mind that shipping of firearms, ammunition, and certain accessories is highly regulated.

  2. Age Verification for Firearm Purchases: Be sure to verify that the customer is of legal age to purchase firearms and ammunition before processing their order.

  3. Custom Orders or Special Shipping: If you offer custom firearms, accessories, or other specialized products that may have different shipping requirements, make sure those details are clear in your shipping policy.

  4. Handling Fees: If applicable, outline any handling fees associated with shipping firearms or other restricted products.
